Karen Bogenholm, Breeder

My name is Karen Bogenholm, and I have been breeding and showing Boston Terriers for more than 30 years. My love for animals, passion for excellence & enthusiasm for Boston Terriers, has helped me breed new generations of Boston Terriers that frequently overpass the breed standard & earn the title of Champions & Grand Champions.

Four of the last five years, one of my dogs were placed in the Top 10 Boston Terrier Breed Standing. 

From birth, I provide my puppies with only the best care & I use strictly vet recommended pet supplies. Each litter receives an extensive examination by my local vet during which they are checked for hearing, patellas, and other defects as well as receive crucial certifications of health. 

Although markings are important, structure is essential. I prefer a square profile on my dogs. The puppies are trained to move precisely & raised to possess only a good temperament. 

My objective as a breeder is to produce healthy and outgoing puppies that could eventually earn the title of Champion & later become a faithful, obedient, & very lovable household pet.

Throughout the years, I have been invited to the Westminster Dog Show on various occasions. In 2014, I attended the Westminster Dog Show with GCH CH KC's "Just Out of Reach." 

In 2008, I opened Pet Wish Pros, where I sell non-prescription pet supplements and medications. This business has since flourished, and my time at Pet Wish Pros has strengthened my knowledge of veterinarian supplies.  This ever-growing knowledge allows me to provide each Boston Terrier in my life with prompt and well-chosen healthcare. 

I am truly passionate about what I do each and everyday. My experience as a breeder and my role as a business owner have allowed me to immerse myself into my pets and provide accurate, experienced advice to other pet owners in search of the perfect product and a passionate breeder.
